CleanMob raises €1.3 million to revolutionize fleet management with its predictive AI-powered technology

Future 40 of Station F, the mobility and technology startup, is accelerating its deployment with its first fundraising round. This support will enable it to reach 50,000 vehicles connected to its platform by 2027 and maintain its technological lead.

CleanMob, a startup specializing in intelligent fleet management, is among the top 4% of the most innovative startups in the Station F incubator’s Future 40 ranking and is currently being accelerated by MoveLab (Batch 13, 2025).

The startup today announced a €1.3 million Seed round to accelerate its expansion. Financed by BPI France, 212Founders by CDG Invest, MNF Ventures (through its MNF II fund), Tremplin Capital, and four renowned business angels, this operation will strengthen its commercial development and confirm its status as a new disruptive player in automotive telematics.

A unique technology that attracts investors

Founded in 2021 by Salah and Khalil El Hajji, two engineer brothers passionate about the automotive industry and R&D, CleanMob stands out with its unique approach to connected fleet management. Unlike traditional solutions based on expensive telematics boxes and sometimes providing unreliable data, CleanMob leverages proprietary virtual sensor technology that combines signal processing, predictive AI, and physical modeling. This allows for the collection, reliability, and enrichment of data from vehicle sensors.

And this is a game-changer in three key ways:

– Data reliability: All signals from connected vehicle computers benefit from this advanced processing (for 25 key brands including Stellantis, Renault, BMW, Volvo, Tesla, Toyota, etc.)

– Universal accessibility: Vehicles not natively connected are integrated using drivers’ smartphone sensors (accelerometer, GPS, gyroscope) coupled with CleanMob’s virtual sensor technology.

– Express deployment: A 100% software solution, deployable in less than 72 hours without physical intervention.

Thanks to this disruptive technology, companies can manage their fleets more efficiently: real-time energy consumption, preventive maintenance and remote diagnostics, calculation of real-time CO2 emissions, improvement of driving behaviors, as well as optimize their transition to electric vehicles and manage their charging.

CleanMob’s solution has already attracted several major clients: Engie Home Services, Asten Santé (a subsidiary of the La Poste group), the Merlin group, and MSPB, with a connected fleet of several thousand vehicles.

“The automotive telematics industry has historically relied on physical OBD devices, which are expensive and limited in accuracy. Our logistics-free approach, based on advanced data processing using our predictive AI, physics models, and automotive R&D expertise, enables more precise and predictive fleet management while reducing operating costs,” explains Salah El Hajji, co-founder and CEO of CleanMob.

A landmark fundraising round for the startup

This first round of funding represents a key milestone in CleanMob’s development. With this funding, the startup aims to reach 50,000 connected vehicles by 2027. CleanMob intends to accelerate its commercial development by targeting mid-sized companies and large corporations. All this while continuing its research and development efforts to maintain its technological leadership. The startup aims to establish itself as a key player in connected and sustainable mobility, offering an efficient and scalable alternative to existing solutions.

“The support of our investors demonstrates the value and relevance of our model and technology, and gives us the means to accelerate our growth in the French market. We aim to establish CleanMob as the leading provider of next-generation automotive telematics,” adds Salah El Hajji.

A founding team with expertise in automotive, data, and software

CleanMob was born from the passion of Salah and Khalil El Hajji, two engineer brothers fascinated by the automotive industry and R&D since their high school years in Morocco. Together, they are developing an innovative vision of connected fleet management.

Salah El Hajji is a fluid mechanics and combustion engineer graduated from ENSEEIHT, and an engineer specializing in energy and powertrain from the École du pétrole et des moteurs de Paris (IFP School). Formerly chief engineer at Volvo Group, he has extensive expertise in automotive powertrains, with a specialization in signal processing and exploitation.

x vehicle sensors, modeling physical laws, and optimizing vehicle performance. He is also a visiting lecturer in data science applied to automotive R&D at IFP School.

Khalil El Hajji is a software architecture engineer, a graduate of Polytech Nice, and holds a master’s degree in technology project management from Télécom Paris and ESSEC. After earning his stripes at major players such as HP and BNP Paribas, where he progressed from developer to project manager, he joined the scale-up Wynd (Next 40) as Head of Product. At the intersection of tech, logistics, and unified commerce, he has developed in-depth expertise in the design of complex, secure, and scalable products.

About CleanMob

Launched in 2021, CleanMob is a startup that optimizes fleet management using data. Its expertise is based on the joint integration of artificial intelligence and automotive R&D. Thanks to its innovative approach, it allows fleet managers to track and minimize the cost and carbon emissions of their fleets, whether thermal, hybrid, or electric. CleanMob deploys its telematics expertise with a web platform for managers, an API, and a dedicated application for drivers to encourage eco-driving in an educational way; solutions from which Engie Home Services and Asten Santé have already benefited.
